**Corporate Procurement**

You will be empowered to deliver real tangible value and savings through strategic sourcing, so GIC can use its joint purchasing power to extract the best possible value from the marketplace. You will also help to ensure that GIC sources its goods and services from vendors and service providers with responsible and sustainable business practices to safeguard GIC’s reputation.

**What impact can you make in this role?**

You will help handle GIC's global workplace management with centre of excellence skills.

**What will you do as an Associate/AVP, Enterprise Sourcing and Procurement?**

Liaise closely with internal stakeholders on their procurement needs and budget
- Perform end-to-end sourcing and procurement functions and activities
- Provide support and guidance to stakeholders on commercial negotiation strategies with vendors
- Manage the e-Procurement system and procurement operations e.g. procure to pay process
- Manage end-to-end vendor lifecycle which include initial due diligence, engagement, negotiation and performance monitoring
- Manage vendor contracts to ensure due performance and continuity of essential services
- Develop and sustain collaborative relationships with vendors and be responsible for communicating and resolving procurement related issues
- Propose enhancements to the procurement framework for continuous improvements
- Liaise closely with internal stakeholders on their procurement needs and budget
- Partner stakeholders to ensure governance and control requirements, and adherence to practices and frameworks of the corporate policies
- Participate in work process improvement initiatives and projects
- Assist management in identifying cost saving and optimization opportunities
- Support the development, implementation and execution of sourcing and negotiation strategies for key areas to achieve short
- and long-term saving targets

**What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?**
- Good degree with 3-6 years of relevant work experience relating to the job description
- Tech savvy; passionate in exploring and learning new skills and knowledge
- Resourceful and has broad knowledge of procurement practices, and vendors management
- Experienced in category management, procurement and sourcing, contract, and commercial negotiation, financial, and contract management
- Experienced in change management, risk management and vendor management
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills and be able to interact with internal stakeholders at varying levels in the organization
- Strong team-player and yet exhibit independence in driving and delivering business outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage multiple tasks with poise and discretion in a fast-paced environment. Willing to go the extra mile to attend to urgent requests
- Excellent written and communication, and negotiation skills
- Structured in thought process, with excellent planning and organizational ability
