About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team at TECH AALTO PTE. LTD. as a Technical Specialist. This is a 24/7 shift work role that requires flexibility and adaptability.

Responsibilities
  • Create and manage change requests, gathering information from multiple sources and following up with users for missing details.
  • Validate change requests before submission and follow up with stakeholders for approval.
  • Perform patching tasks, including UAT and production patching, following standard operating procedures and obtaining user confirmation before proceeding.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, providing troubleshooting and support for desktop hardware and software.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to resolve complex issues and report any errors or discrepancies.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in L1/L2 desktop support services.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (9am-6pm, 1pm-10pm, 9pm-6am) including occasional overnight shifts for UAT and weekend work as required.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
