About the Department
The Group Technology and Operations (GTO) division is responsible for delivering software and system development, IT support services, and banking operations. We have streamlined and standardized our technological components in Singapore, establishing a global presence that supports our regional subsidiaries and branches around the world. Our Operations divisions prioritize cost efficiency through process enhancements, automation, and seamless processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and process customer claims while adhering to established service levels.
- Manage third-party service providers to ensure compliance with required service standards.
- Conduct reconciliations of cash, settlement accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Lead or participate in projects and initiatives aimed at process enhancement.
- Analyze extensive datasets to formulate actionable strategies for process optimization and cost savings.
- Document and review operational processes to ensure alignment with UOB's risk management framework.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience in Banking Operations.
- Familiarity with settlement accounts and cash reconciliation.
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply, with on-the-job training available.
- Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
