About the Department
The Group Technology and Operations (GTO) division is responsible for delivering software and system development, IT support services, and banking operations. We have streamlined and standardized our technological components in Singapore, establishing a global presence that supports our regional subsidiaries and branches around the world. Our Operations teams are dedicated to enhancing cost efficiency through process optimization, automation, and seamless processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and process customer claims while adhering to established service levels.
- Manage third-party service providers to ensure compliance with required service standards.
- Conduct reconciliations of cash, settlement accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Lead or participate in projects aimed at process enhancement and improvement initiatives.
- Analyze extensive datasets to formulate actionable strategies for process enhancement and cost savings.
- Document and review operational processes to ensure alignment with UOB's risk management framework.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of pertinent experience in Banking Operations.
- Familiarity with settlement accounts and cash reconciliation.
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply, with on-the-job training available.
- Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
