About the Department
The Group Technology and Operations (GTO) division is responsible for software and system development, IT support services, and banking operations. We have streamlined and standardized our technological components in Singapore, establishing a global presence that supports our regional subsidiaries and branches worldwide. Our Operations teams prioritize cost efficiency through process enhancements, automation, and seamless processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage customer claims within established service standards.
- Coordinate with third-party service providers to maintain required service levels.
- Conduct reconciliations of cash, settlement accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Lead or participate in projects and initiatives aimed at process enhancement.
- Analyze extensive datasets to formulate actionable strategies for process optimization and cost savings.
- Document and review operational processes to ensure adherence to UOB's risk management framework.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience in Banking Operations.
- Familiarity with settlement accounts and cash reconciliation.
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply, with on-the-job training available.
- Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
