We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Sales and Marketing Manager - Marine Coatings to join our team at HEMPEL (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Marine sales team, driving business growth, and developing strategies to achieve our objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a high-performing team of sales professionals to achieve targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to expand our marine coatings business in Singapore and beyond.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with key customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to drive loyalty and retention.
  • Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed targets.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and improve competitiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in the marine coatings industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with experience using these tools to manage sales pipelines, track customer interactions, and analyze sales performance.
