Japanese Cuisine Chef Job Opportunity

Are you a skilled chef looking to elevate your culinary career? We are seeking an experienced Japanese Cuisine Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring seamless front-end and kitchen activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our restaurant. With a strong focus on quality control and exceptional standards of hygiene, you will be responsible for maintaining our high standards throughout the kitchen and front-of-house areas.

A successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role and possess excellent leadership skills. Training will be provided for a Diploma in Culinary Arts, so if you are eager to develop your skills and progress your career, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

The working hours will be split, with shifts from 10:30am to 2:30pm and 5pm - 9pm. This will give you the flexibility to balance work and personal life. You will also receive a competitive salary of $2500 - $3500 Basic, making this a very attractive job opportunity.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring both front-end and kitchen activities run smoothly.
    • Maintain strict adherence to our food preparation and serving standards.
    • Uphold exceptional standards of hygiene, quality control, health, and safety throughout the kitchen and front-of-house areas.
    • To control and minimize food wastage.
  • Requirements:
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
    • Training provided for a Diploma in Culinary Arts.
