Transaction Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Transaction Manager. This position involves leading the build and development of the team, supporting large, complex syndicated and bilateral loans across various sectors.

  • Contribute to the creation of processes, standards, procedures, controls, and training for transaction management, and assist in the design, testing, and rollout of relevant technology.
  • Ensure that the quality of data, controls, and processes meet internal policies and regulatory requirements/expectations, and define/implement operational metrics for end-to-end transparency.
  • Actively manage and maintain a deal closing pipeline, coordinating and closing loan transactions/lifecycle events, capturing data, storing documentation, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for safeguarding assets, clients, and the firm's reputation.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage priorities independently.
  • High proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft programs, with familiarity with Tableau or other visualization tools, and experience with Loan IQ or similar transaction capture tools.
  • Developed analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated client relationship and solution skills.
