Senior Vice President, Credit Management and Quality Assurance Lead

Job Summary
DBS Bank is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Vice President to lead its Credit Management and Quality Assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the bank's credit risk exposure, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving operational efficiency within the credit department.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy, policies, and procedures specific to credit-related processes.
- Oversee quality control processes for credit applications, post-approval activities, and collection control to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions, preventive measures, and continuous improvement initiatives within the credit department.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits, assessments, and remediation plans related to credit processes and operations.
- Identify training needs and design relevant programs to enhance / develop relevant credit skills.
- Monitor key control indicators, cost management initiatives, and training programs within the credit department.
Requirements
- A recognized Degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in credit operations management, quality assurance, and compliance within the consumer banking industry.
- Strong knowledge of credit processes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record in leading teams and driving operational efficiency within the credit department.
- Experience in developing and implementing quality assurance strategies and policies.
- Familiarity with audit management, compliance, and credit policy governance.
- Ability to monitor performance through KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Leadership skills to provide strategic direction and inspire high performance.
