Vessel Training Operations Manager

About the Role:
This senior position oversees all aspects of training for Disney Cruise Line’s fleet of vessels. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in marine and safety training, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective training programs.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive training plans for vessel crews, ensuring compliance with international regulations and company policies.
2. Collaborate with senior management to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them.
3. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
4. Provide coaching and mentoring to vessel crew members on safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
5. Maintain accurate records of training activities, including participant attendance and evaluation results.
Requirements:
- Strategic planner with sound technical and people skills, analytical ability, sound judgment, and operational focus.
- Marine/safety training experience, great communication skills, leadership.
- Extensive working knowledge and depth understanding of the industry, company, and ships' training systems and operations.
