Job Summary

TVS SCS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Sales Development Manager to join our team. As a Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales development strategies that meet or exceed assigned sales targets. You will identify and jointly develop differentiators with internal stakeholders to increase new customer acquisitions and retentions. You will also identify and win new customer opportunities by developing a strong pipeline and executing the opportunity win plan well. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 to 8 years of sales experience in the Logistics or Freight Forwarding industry and a proven track record of success in MNC business development and strategic account management. The candidate should have a strong market knowledge in freight forwarding, supply chain solutions, and specialisations in certain industry verticals. The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for establishing and managing network of customer contacts, driving strategies to establish value-creating partnerships with customers, and transforming discussions of potential opportunities into actionable future plans with customers. The candidate should also have strong leadership qualities, motivation skills, and the ability to communicate and interact effectively across various levels with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales development strategy
  • Identify and jointly develop differentiators with internal stakeholders
  • Identify and win new customer opportunities
  • Establish and manage network of customer contacts
  • Drive strategies to establish value-creating partnerships with customers
  • Transform discussions of potential opportunities into actionable future plans with customers
  • Maintain optimal sales volume, product mix, and selling price
  • Optimise GP and adjust selling prices
  • Oversee coordination with relevant departments on meeting customers' requirements
  • Write up SOP for each secured customer
  • Facilitate in resolving service issues with the customer
  • Update all sales activities in Salesforce
  • Develop and coordinate effective use of marketing collateral, materials and all customer related information


Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 to 8 years of sales experience in the Logistics or Freight Forwarding industry and a proven track record of success in MNC business development and strategic account management.
