Job Details

The Education Recruitment Administrative Officer supports the HR team in managing faculty recruitment processes at NTU, ensuring efficient execution and timely completion. This position involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders to facilitate a seamless recruitment experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to track the status of each assigned faculty search, guaranteeing timely completion.
  • Coordinate with the Dean, Chair, and School Search Committee to manage all aspects of faculty recruitment, ensuring accurate and efficient execution.
Facilitating Candidate Evaluation
  • Collaborate with Deans and Chairs to establish and appoint School Search Committees, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Draft job descriptions and work with HR Shared Services to post job advertisements on relevant internal and external platforms, maximizing visibility.
  • Request and manage references for shortlisted candidates, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to policy standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of SSC evaluations for each applicant, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Arrange campus visits and interviews for top candidates, facilitating a smooth evaluation process.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of search reports submitted by SSCs, confirming they meet policy standards.
Qualifications
  • A degree with at least 2-4 years of experience in human resources or general administration roles; prior experience in an educational or academic environment is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with faculty members, administrators, and students, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and report writing, ensuring meticulousness and precision.
