We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Office Agent to join our team at THE RITZ-CARLTON, MILLENIA SINGAPORE. As a Front Office Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience during their stay.
Key Responsibilities- Process guest check-ins and check-outs, including confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
- Manage guest payments, including processing room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit transactions.
- Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information on hotel services and local attractions.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for check-in and resolve any issues related to room readiness.
- Communicate parking procedures to guests and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
- Supply guests with directions and information on hotel amenities and local areas of interest.
- Run daily reports on arrivals, departures, and special requests, and ensure accuracy of reports.
- Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
- Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks, and count bank at the beginning and end of shift.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, and anticipate and address their service needs.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Front Office experience in a luxury hotel environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and property management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
