Job Description

As a Culinary Operations Manager in Training, you will gain expertise in overseeing daily kitchen operations, including supervision of staff and food production.

  1. Develop skills in Daily Inventory Management and stock control to optimize restaurant performance.
  2. Ensure total quality and quantity of food prepared from assigned sections by maintaining high culinary standards.
  3. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen with all assigned staff, adhering to safety and hygiene regulations.
  4. Evaluate wastages and develop strategies to minimize food waste without compromising food quality.
  5. Train staff in their duty areas to produce high-quality food served at competitive prices.
  6. Contribute to staff retention and stability in assigned sections by fostering a positive work environment.
  7. Maintain equipment in good working condition and service them to meet restaurant standards.
Requirements:

· Prior experience in a restaurant or related establishment is highly desirable

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking skills

· Good team player with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

· Minimum 2 years of experience in various kitchens with skills focus on Western cuisine

· Hold a culinary Diploma from a known institution or equivalent
