Corporate Development Lead

Restaurant Brands International is seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead expansion across the Asia Pacific region, driving growth strategies for Burger King, Popeyes, Tim Hortons, and Firehouse Subs.

This pivotal role demands five days of office presence in Singapore and occasional travel within APAC to engage with partners, facilitate development agreements, and execute business development strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and excellent interpersonal abilities to foster lasting relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and onboard new investors and franchise operators to fuel business expansion.
  • Develop comprehensive investment cases and business plans for new market entries, leveraging insights from market research and due diligence.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to drive business development initiatives across APAC, identifying opportunities for strategic partnerships and revenue growth.
  • Negotiate development agreements, coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in business or a related field; an MBA degree is advantageous.
  • 8-12 years of experience in corporate development, M&A, or investment banking, with expertise in one or more areas.
  • Background in master franchising business models and/or Quick Service Restaurant industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong data analysis skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and exceptional communication abilities are essential.
  • Proven track record of managing high-stakes negotiations and complex projects.
  • Fluency in English, with additional APAC languages considered an asset.
