System Manager for Complex Engineering Projects

Job Description:

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the development and implementation of intricate systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex engineering projects, ensuring timely completion, and meeting customer expectations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Detailed Design and Prototyping: Responsible for designing, prototyping, commissioning, and testing completed systems.
  • Customer Liaison and Team Coordination: Collaborate with customers and internal team members to ensure effective coordination, planning, and project schedules are met.
  • Factory Testing: Coordinate and manage factory testing in both company premises and customer sites.
  • Integration and Implementation: Oversee the integration of hardware and software work as well as implementation.
  • Quality Assurance: Execute proper integration/engineering/maintenance work and QA technical checks throughout project execution.
  • Change Management and Documentation: Manage application program change management, hardware deployment management, and documentation.
  • PLC/SCADA Project Execution: Implement PLC/SCADA projects from concept to design and programming.
  • Client Interface and Progress Reporting: Meet with clients, create reports, and document project progress.
  • Independent Troubleshooting: Capable of performing independent troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: At least a degree in Electrical/Electronic or related discipline.
  • Experience: With at least 3-5 years of experience in PLC/SCADA.
  • Safety Programming Familiarity: Familiar with safety PLC programming.
  • PLC Familiarity: Familiar with Siemens and Schneider PLCs.
  • Critical Thinking: Able to read and interpret electrical schematics, plans, drawings, etc.
  • Time Management: Able to work under pressure, multitask, and coordinate tasks effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills, able to work independently and in teams.
