Job Title: Controls Project Engineer


Job Description:

The controls project engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of complex systems. This individual is responsible for providing engineering support to the project team from the validation phase through to project implementation.

Key responsibilities include identifying the type of material and equipment required during the validation phase, preparing and submitting engineering submittals, programming devices, creating and programming graphics according to project requirements, assisting in test and commissioning of system equipment, and preparing and submitting operation and maintenance manuals.

Additionally, the controls project engineer must provide a bill of quantity for projects and ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with specified quality and EHS standards.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or Building Control in relevant field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in PLC programming is an added advantage
  • Experience in handling energy management systems, HVAC systems, chiller plant systems, and building management systems will be a plus
  • Knowledge of IT networking and database programming, function block programming, structured language programming, or HTML5 programming will be of added advantage
  • Knowledge of industrial system protocols like BACnet, Modbus, LONTalk
  • Strong customer management and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work with the team and self-motivated
