System Engineer for Complex Systems

As a System Engineer for Complex Systems, you will be responsible for the administration of Active Directory and Windows Update Services. Your primary goal is to ensure the stability and security of our system infrastructure.

  • Manage and maintain all Active Directory objects, DNS records, and Group Policies.
  • Handle requests for creation and removal of related items.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of system administration and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with the Support Engineer or Software Engineer to resolve complex issues beyond the capability of Level 1 support staff.

  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving incidents based on Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
  • Escalate unsolvable problems to the third level of support and report them to management.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines. A degree in Computer Science or equivalent, and relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are highly desirable.

  • Past experience working in cloud environments is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Linux, Unix, Active Directory/DNS/GPO, ADFS, Microsoft Azure Stack, and Microsoft Windows is required.
