Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to design, plan, and oversee the installation and maintenance of complex HVAC systems.

  • Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and layouts using CAD software to meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards by performing load calculations and assessing energy efficiency.
  • Design efficient air conditioning and ventilation systems that meet or exceed client expectations.
Installation and Project Management

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of HVAC and mechanical ventilation systems, ensuring quality control and timely completion.

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project execution and maintain open communication channels.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and delays.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting

This position involves developing preventive maintenance programs for HVAC and mechanical ventilation systems to minimize downtime and optimize performance.

  • Diagnose system malfunctions, recommending corrective actions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Analyze system data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to reduce costs and environmental impact.
Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.

  • Professional certification in HVAC systems (e.g., ASHRAE, LEED) is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical ventilation principles, as well as proficiency in CAD design software.
  • Experience with building automation systems and energy-efficient HVAC solutions, with a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility.
