Job Title: HVAC System Specialist


Job Description:

Maintain and operate HVAC systems efficiently to ensure compliance with client site requirements and adapt to site changes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure HVAC system operation within the required parameters, including temperature and humidity control.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, checking belts, and lubricating moving parts.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment, making necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Collaborate with technicians to complete preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Conduct daily monitoring of warehouse and HVAC system temperatures and humidity levels, responding promptly to any deviations from normal ranges.
  • Operate HVAC systems using Building Management Systems (BMS) and make adjustments as needed.
  • Act as liaison for contractors and vendors related to HVAC projects.
  • Report to regulatory bodies regarding cooling tower disinfection, shutdowns, and water sampling in compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare and submit regular activity summaries to stakeholders and plant management.
  • Implement small HVAC projects and document Engineering Change Controls effectively.
  • Ensure timely completion and closure of Work Orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Attend Tiering meetings and oversee end-to-end operations for preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Serve as point of contact for all HVAC scope within the plant.
  • Be responsible for HVAC systems, including but not limited to: Chilled water and cooling water systems; Cooling towers; Related pumps; Absorption and electric chillers (-20 to +5°C); Cold room refrigeration units; AHUs / FCUs / Dehumidifiers; Split units, etc.
