Operations Team Lead

Job Description:

The Merchant Operations team is responsible for driving growth and innovation for our business. As an Operations Team Lead, you will shape the business to meet evolving consumer needs by providing everyday services that matter most.

You will lead cross-functional projects, implement scalable solutions, and develop operational processes that improve merchant and consumer experiences. This role ensures initiatives achieve business impact while supporting country growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business and product initiatives to drive adoption and efficiency
  • Design and implement policies and workflows that turn business needs into clear, scalable processes
  • Continuously monitor and enhance merchant and consumer experiences to keep the platform competitive and high-performing
  • Develop and scale solutions that improve performance, strengthen operational efficiency, and support long-term strategic goals
  • Apply local market insights to refine platform features and processes, driving greater merchant success and satisfaction
  • Encourage self-serve tool adoption by uncovering actionable insights that empower merchants to operate independently and thrive
  • Serve as the main liaison across product, engineering, support, and operations teams to align priorities and ensure seamless delivery

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business/Engineering or other relevant courses
  • 4+ years of experience in consulting and/or working with multiple departments team members, preferably in leading regional or global tech and ecommerce firms
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end projects and implementing scalable solutions
  • Structured thought process and strong analytical abilities, able to translate insights into actionable outcomes
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and accountable, with the ability to navigate ambiguity
