About the Role

The Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless warehouse operations. This position involves leading a team of warehouse staff, overseeing purchasing and inventory management, and implementing effective strategies to optimize storage and handling procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Purchasing: Source materials and supplies, negotiate with vendors, place orders, and track deliveries to guarantee timely receipt of goods.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels by conducting regular stock cycle counts, analyzing data, and implementing inventory control procedures to prevent overstocking or understocking.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and guide warehouse staff, addressing any issues that may arise and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to ensure accurate forecasting and delivery of products to meet customer demands.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data and purchasing trends to identify areas for improvement and cost optimization, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing and inventory management
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage teams effectively
