Procurement and Inventory Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Procurement and Inventory Specialist to join our team. This is a key role in the organization, responsible for tactical sourcing, ongoing assessment, and supplier relationship management.

The successful candidate will have minimum 'O' Level and above with at least 2 years of working experience in purchasing in the Hospitality industry. Strong research skills, time management, planning and coordination are essential for this role. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft applications and have experience in Purchasing and inventory softwares.

Responsibilities include:
• Tactical Sourcing: Source food and non-food categories related items
• Ongoing Assessment: Assess suppliers and negotiate contracts
• Supplier Relationship Management: Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality products
• Purchasing Needs: Drive purchasing needs within all departments and manage communication by giving procurement updates weekly
• Cost Control Strategies: Identify cost control strategies to reduce expenses
• Inventory Management: Conduct physical inventory counts, examine and analyze inventory levels to ensure they match records in the company database, detect discrepancies or errors and report to management
• Reporting: Create reports on inventory levels and communicate findings to management
• Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to share inventory audit findings and proposed solutions
