Therapeutic Franchise Leader Role

The role of Therapeutic Franchise Leader is a strategic position that plays a crucial part in the success of our clinical trials. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies to support new business proposals and ensure the successful delivery of contracted work within their area of expertise.

This includes creating innovative delivery strategies and solutions that leverage our expertise in relevant therapeutic areas, as well as working with cross-functional teams to differentiate us from competitors and drive long-term business growth.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Developing and optimizing operational strategies to support new business proposals and project delivery
  • Working closely with Business Development to evaluate and manage new opportunities, and develop project budgets and pricing strategies
  • Coordinating with Operations Project Delivery Leaders to enable the assigned project delivery team to understand and implement the project strategy
  • Facilitating the handover of awarded projects to project leads and guiding them throughout the project lifecycle
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related science or healthcare discipline
  • Minimum 10 years global clinical research experience, including proven track record in hands-on operational project delivery and/or drug development experience
  • Minimum 5 years global business development experience, ideally in a hands-on capacity but otherwise to show direct involvement in associated processes e.g. RFP, BDMs, client leadership and relationship management
  • Expert experience in one or more operational areas and ability to understand and implement projects within assigned area of expertise
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, and lead a virtual team in a matrix organization
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, including good command of English language (both written and spoken)
  • Strong business acumen including confidence with financial considerations, excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and comfortable working in both sales and operational environments
