Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as the Volunteer and Donor Relations Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating volunteer and donor relations programmes and projects, including planning and organising formal and informal engagement programmes for volunteers, managing volunteer registration, resource allocation, duty roster, and track participation, supervising volunteers, and raising awareness of the organisation's volunteer programmes.

The role involves conceptualising, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating projects related to fundraising and donor, partner, and volunteer engagement and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fundraising: Develop and implement fundraising initiatives and strategies, manage and execute fundraising projects with budget and schedule, build and strengthen collaborative relationships with donors, partners, and volunteers, and implement cloud-based donor management solutions to improve operational efficiency and IT security.
  • Donor & Partners Management: Conceptualise and implement donor programmes/events within budget, funding mechanism, and timeliness, match volunteers to organisation needs and volunteer interests, develop effective strategies to recruit new volunteers, conduct screening, interview, and orientation, and identify suitable and effective training platforms for volunteers.
  • Volunteer Management: Plan and organise formal and informal engagement programmes for volunteers, including annual volunteer appreciation events, manage volunteer registration, resource allocation, duty roster, and track participation, supervise volunteers, and raise awareness of the organisation's volunteer programmes.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in community partnership and fundraising in social service agencies/IPC charities is preferred.
  • Bachelor degree in a related field.
  • Able to build relationships and is an open and confident communicator and presenter, possess excellent organisational and planning skills, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, able to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines, passionate about working with stakeholders, have good interpersonal skills, willing to learn and be guided, and good stakeholder and event management skills.
