Job Title: Marine Field Service Engineer

As a Marine Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of marine generators. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide technical support to ensure their equipment is running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide standby support and emergency call services for customer support
  • Offer after-sales technical support, site recovery, and maintenance responsibilities to distributors/end customers
  • Generate service reports in a systematic manner
  • Investigate and handle all customers' complaints related to product failures
  • Investigate root causes of failures and recommend solutions
  • Review and assist in determining the extent of damage and repairs of warranty claims from distributors
  • Maintain close working relationships with key customers to ensure issues are resolved efficiently
  • Develop service training materials and ensure all technical and training documents are up-to-date and organized
  • Provide specific training to distributors and dealers on service and troubleshooting skillsets to ensure optimum service levels

Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to travel frequently in the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia regions
  • Candidates with equivalent professional backgrounds will be considered
  • Prior electrical and control experience with various control systems (John Deere ECU and KDI ECU) and synchronization systems will be advantageous

  • Competitive salary range: SGD 3,500 to SGD 5,000 monthly

  • SGD 250 transport allowance
