Job Title:

The primary role of the Marine Generator Technician is to provide technical support for marine generators, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with assembly and repair of marine generators, as well as a strong understanding of marine electronics and automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide standby support and emergency call services for customer support.
  • Offer after-sales technical support, site recovery, and maintenance responsibilities to distributors/end customers.
  • Generate service reports in a systematic manner.
  • Investigate and handle all customers' complaints related to product failures.
  • Determine root causes of failures and recommend solutions.
  • Review and assist in determining the extent of damage and repairs of warranty claims from distributors.
  • Maintain close working relationships with key customers to ensure issues are resolved.
  • Develop service training materials and ensure all technical documents are up-to-date and organized.
  • Provide specific training to distributors and dealers for service and troubleshooting skills.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Frequent travel required within the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia Region.
  • Candidates with equivalent professional backgrounds will be considered.
  • Prior electrical and control experience with various control systems (John Deere ECU and KDI ECU) and synchronization systems will be advantageous.
