- Deliver monthly/quarterly business reviews and operational planning documents for the respective tech domain and geography.
- Drive geographical scale through external partners; partner with cross-functional teams across Solution Architecture, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, and Training to execute customer acquisition programs and strategies.
The WWSO Edge Services team positions AWS as the best place to run workloads for content delivery networks. Our team helps customers increase revenue by creating new digital services, or increase efficiency by using the data to streamline operations and removing costs from operations. As a Business Development Specialist on the Edge Services team, you will create scaled GTM motions for edge services to expand adoption of these services into new or existing customer portfolios.
Requirements- 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience
- 5+ years of technology domain experience; edge services or related technology
- Experience managing programs/teams across cross-functional teams, building processes
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills with experience communicating to technical and non-technical audiences
- Established track record of credibility as a technology advisor with customer executives (e.g. CEO, COO, CIO, CTO, CMO) and Line of Business Leaders
- Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms
