The role of Event Director plays a pivotal part in the success of our aviation-focused event in Singapore.

This dynamic position requires an individual with experience in managing large-scale trade shows, preferably within the B2B industry. As the face of the launch, you will be responsible for sales, sales agent recruitment and management, establishing key relationships with industry partners, and influencing all aspects of the event team.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Leadership: Manage sales managers and agents, lead by example, develop campaign strategies, and ensure sales plans are delivered on target.
  • Relationships: Foster positive relationships with suppliers, associations, media, and commercial partners to drive event growth.
  • Brand Management: Develop strategies for brand growth, write business plans, produce coherent brand strategies, and tie in marketing efforts with UKi media assets.
  • Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, manage credit control, provide monthly reports, and write exhibition business plans.
  • General Management: Lead the event sales and agent team, manage interdepartmental relationships, close collaborations with PTE World, set goals, monitor bonus and commission plans, and recruit new staff as necessary.

You will work closely with the operations team to develop operational strategies, ensure efficient delivery of the plan, and maintain high levels of exhibitor and delegate experiences.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will develop an exhibitor marketing campaign strategy, personally manage key industry partnerships, conduct press interviews, and get close to your market to understand its trends and develop your event around it.
