As an Air Warfare Officer, you will be under the Enhanced Officers Scheme (EOS). Depending on your specialisation, you will fortify our skies in different ways.
1. Air Battle Management
You will show our aircraft the way, providing the direction they need to deal with aerial threats decisively.
2. Air Defence Weapons
You will have a full suite of advanced air defence systems at your disposal. Fire or hold? Friend or foe? You will make the call.
3. Air Traffic Control
You will bring order to the chaos, using your multitasking, communication and analytical skills to help our aircraft take off and return safely and expeditiously.
Responsibilities
To command aircraft in performing air operations; time-sensitive search missions; and precision-demanding air traffic control operations.
To lead, command, and effectively employ and control GBAD units in support of the National Air Defence and Divisional Air Defence missions.
To optimise the allocated RSAF flying assets to conduct multiple tasks during the air campaign.
