Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing targeted assistance to children and families enrolled in our KidSTART program.

About the Role:

This position will involve home visits, intake and enrollment, needs assessment, case coordination, systems linkages, education, and more. As a Child Support Specialist, you will work closely with parents, caregivers, and relevant systems to build child development knowledge and parenting skills.

  • Enhancing parent-child relationships
  • Supporting parents in enabling their children to meet age-appropriate developmental milestones
  • Child safety and well-being
  • Key life transitions (Primary School transition support)

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for working with children and families. You will also need to possess basic computer skills, have a valid driver's license, and be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
