About the Role:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop comprehensive safety plans to ensure the well-being of families and children at risk.
- Carry out social investigations, assessments, case formulations, and intervention planning to address complex issues affecting family dynamics.
- Prepare detailed reports and case recordings to facilitate effective decision-making.
- Implement safety and intervention plans with precision and sensitivity to achieve desired outcomes for families and children.
- Facilitate meetings and sessions with families to promote understanding and cooperation.
- Develop wraparound services to support high-need families through advocacy, referrals, and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to selected families and individuals to address specific needs.
- Offer supervision and training to junior staff members to enhance their skills and confidence.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with child protection, mental health, and/or family violence issues.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and stressful environments while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Maturity, communication skills, and interpersonal skills to engage with professionals and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Capacity to work effectively with children and adolescents.
- Will to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Work Location: Redhill/Choa Chu Kang.
