Job Title: Family Support Coordinator

Family Support Coordinators are integral to our mission of enhancing the lives of children and youth. In this role, you will be working closely with families to identify their needs and develop strategies to support them.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Family Support Coordinator. As a Family Support Coordinator, you will work with families to develop and implement action plans that address their unique challenges and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Build positive relationships with families through outreach and home visits.
  • Develop and implement action plans to support families in achieving their goals.
  • Equip families with relevant knowledge and skills to promote healthy development and well-being.
  • Facilitate positive engagement between parents/caregivers and their children.
  • Partner with community organizations to provide resources and support to families.
  • Advocate for families' needs and respond to crisis situations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with families or in a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in conversational Malay is an advantage.
