Job Title: Community Engagement Manager

About the Role:

The Community Engagement Manager will drive the formation of localised networks across Singapore to convene a committed group of stakeholders and review current support services for families impacted by incarceration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Coordination & Alignment: Facilitate discussions on systemic issues, align understanding of challenges, address implementation challenges, and ensure strategic coherence.
  • Research & Data Management: Oversee data collection, track output indicators, analyze progress and outcomes, develop shared measurement indicators, and document learning processes.
  • Stakeholder & Partnership Engagement: Build relationships with community partners, coordinate joint activities, lead working group discussions, and conduct outreach to follow up on partner progress.
  • Community Engagement: Engage grassroot organizations, government agencies, volunteers, and social service agencies, main coordinator for engagement work related to forming and sustaining localised networks.
  • Community Outreach: Participate in research, planning, implementation, and evaluation for programmes to strengthen family support, mitigate intergenerational offending, and improve reintegration outcomes.
  • Communication & Reporting: Facilitate effective communication between partners, accurately capture key decisions and outcomes, maintain filing/archiving measures, plan stakeholder engagements, and prepare summary reports.
  • Measurement & Evaluation: Develop shared measurement indicators, oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting, and ensure awareness of key targets.
  • Operations: Work independently and as a team to meet operational functions of the Community Engagement Team.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counselling
  • Ability to relate with profound challenges of incarceration, intergenerational offending, social services on family support, and protective factors to successful desistance
