Family Services Coordinator

As a Family Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to families in need. Your primary goal will be to help them navigate challenging situations and develop the skills necessary to maintain a safe and healthy home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of family dynamics and identify areas where intervention is necessary.
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to address specific challenges faced by each family.
  • Collaborate with community resources and other stakeholders to provide wraparound services and support.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to families as needed.
  • Supervise social workers and ensure they have the necessary tools and training to excel in their roles.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience working with child protection, mental health, and/or family violence issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with professionals and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Capacity to engage and work with children and adolescents, tailoring approaches to meet their unique needs.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
