About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to join our Institutional Client Coverage team in Singapore. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to promote our correspondent banking services to financial institutions across Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to promote correspondent banking services to financial institutions across Asia.
  • Manage and facilitate the sales effort for significant cross-border deals to the network and ancillary business opportunities with global and regional bank clients.
  • Identify customer pain-points, understand our customers' aspirations and importantly how that intersects with our correspondent banking capabilities and value proposition.
  • Pitch and close new to bank opportunities through your understanding of customers in your region and ability to interact as a key deal team member.
  • Act as representative for the bank during Industry events and channel back any substantial trends, news, insights that enables us to remain at the forefront of correspondent banking developments.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline.
  • Correspondent banking customer coverage, portfolio management and product sales experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, communication and collaborative skills.
  • Curiosity and desire to drive change and deliver improvement across the business leveraging in-depth payments landscape understanding.
  • An understanding of risk management, particularly financial crime, credit and liquidity risks.
  • Offshore banks experience, particularly 'catch and throw' relationship management will be highly regarded.
