Job Description

We are seeking a senior leader to join our team and drive operational scalability for our Regional Products. As a Product Scalability Senior Lead, you will focus on supporting the company's mission through strategic direction setting, introducing KPIs to measure operational scalability, and establishing frameworks to ensure your team delivers impactful initiatives. You will be responsible for leading and nurturing a group of Product Specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and product-mindedness.

This role requires a seasoned leader with a minimum 3+ years of experience in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of goal-setting and driving team results, as well as strong project management skills with a track record of overseeing all phases of project delivery. They should also be a self-starter with a proven track record of individual ownership, problem-solving, and project execution.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Setting strategic direction and developing the future of Payment Operations Product Scalability;
  • Leading and building a high-functioning team of strong Payments Operations Product Specialists;
  • Developing and empowering teams, improving procedures and processes, and building strong relationships;
  • Working closely with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to manage operational impact and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience through driving operational scalability;


Additional responsibilities may include:
  • Building and establishing KPIs and frameworks to ensure Product Specialists are focusing on delivering the most impactful initiatives in alignment with Product teams;
  • Taking ownership of driving strategic plans within your domain and accountability in their delivery, ensuring OKRs and KPIs are consistently met;
  • Identifying opportunities to consistently automate or eliminate customer friction and operational inefficiencies, translating them to impactful initiatives.

Qualifications

A bit about you:
  • Seasoned leader with minimum 3+ years of experience in a leadership role;
  • Proven track record of goal-setting and driving team results;
  • Self-starter with a proven track record of individual ownership, problem-solving, and project execution;
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of overseeing all phases of project delivery;
  • Has worked directly with Product and Engineering teams to move impactful initiatives;
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to set targets, drive analysis, and define KPIs;
  • Team-builder with hands-on leadership style, dedicated to developing and empowering teams, improving procedures and processes, and building strong relationships;
  • Exceptional communicator with excellent verbal and written English skills, capable of effectively communicating across different cultures and influencing stakeholders;
  • Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, with the ability to handle varied work schedules and occasional travel;
  • Passionate about customer experience, technology, leading people, and building teams, with a genuine drive to make a difference;
  • Customer-focused individual who prioritises the customer's best interest and cultivates this mindset within their teams;
  • You're comfortable with feedback and being part of a team where ideas are shared and openness is valued;

  • Product Operations or Product Management experience;
  • Experience in the payments industry;
  • PMP - Project Management Certification;
  • Lean Six Sigma;
