As a vital member of our team, you will contribute significantly to the execution of a comprehensive claims strategy while promoting best practices in claims administration among clients and internal partners.
In this role within the Southeast Asia Life & Health Claims division, reporting directly to the Claims Manager, your primary duties will encompass managing daily operations to bolster team effectiveness. You will emphasize the development of governance frameworks, reporting mechanisms, client engagement, claims assessment, and risk management strategies to guarantee optimal team performance and adherence to established guidelines.
Core Responsibilities:
- Exhibit expertise in claims assessment by making precise decisions and conveying them effectively and promptly.
- Assist the Claims team in evaluating and handling client claims in accordance with policy stipulations.
- Efficiently oversee daily operational tasks.
- Collaborate with team members, sharing responsibilities and fostering a supportive environment through effective communication.
- Engage with colleagues to nurture client relationships and deliver valuable claims services.
- Participate in Claims Reviews and Audits to elevate client standards.
- Design and implement training programs to enhance clients' understanding and skills in claims management.
- Ensure the accuracy of claims data and reporting for business analytics.
- Conduct internal Quality Assurance evaluations and generate governance reports.
- Support the Claims Manager and Head of Life & Health Underwriting & Claims Southeast Asia on various claims initiatives.

Candidate Profile
- Degree in insurance, business, finance, law, or medical fields.
- 3 to 5+ years of relevant technical experience in Life & Health claims.
- Comprehensive understanding of life insurance markets and portfolio dynamics in the Asian context.
- Familiarity with local claims practices, regulations, and product characteristics.
- Capability to conduct client audits and create training materials.
- Strong analytical abilities with a knack for transforming insights into actionable plans.
- Proficient in negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent computer proficiency and command of the English language.
- Proven track record of integrity, commitment, and a client-centric approach.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative in nature.
- Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving circumstances.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, approximately 10% of the time.
