As a Claims Specialist/Senior Claims Specialist at Allianz Insurance Singapore, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our claims management process. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with internal stakeholders to align coverage, policy intent, and wordings, while achieving annual claims savings set by the Head of Department (HoD) for the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, evaluate, and negotiate all Motor claims assigned, achieving timely settlements within designated authority limits.
  • Handle claim recoveries and liaise with service providers, such as surveyors, investigators, lawyers, doctors, and other relevant parties, on claims matters.
  • Understand Allianz Claims Management strategies and ensure proper claim settlements in accordance with policy conditions and company guidelines.
  • Meet service standards and abide by claims protocols, ensuring customer claims experience is met.
  • Assist in statistical reports, operational reports, and recommendations on claims remedial steps to Management.
  • Work with fellow Claims Specialists/Managers on ongoing claims review and continuous improvement of claims operating procedures and standards.
  • Support projects and initiatives on claims, including marketing, process, product, system setup, and enhancement for all Motor products.
  • Collaborate with IT Master platform teams to enhance the claims process and system functionalities of the core platform, moving towards organization's STP and NPS targets as a claims team.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in any field.
  • 3 to 5 years of Motor Claims experience.
  • Motor claims handling, particularly in Private vehicles, Commercial Vehicles, and Fleet.
  • Meticulous, analytical, problem-solving, and organized.
  • Open-minded, proactive, receptive to new ideas, and cope well with changes and pressure.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, customer service techniques/skills, and interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of clients, intermediaries, and external parties.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills in both English & Chinese.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office software and any other technology applications.
  • Team Player willing to work in a dynamic environment and help others.
  • Experience in other lines, such as Personal Accident, Home, and Fire, and managing commercial products, such as Property and Casualty, Engineering, and WICA claims, will have an advantage.
