We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by developing strategic partnerships and executing expansion plans.
Your responsibilities will include conducting market research, identifying new business leads, and developing strategic partnerships. You will also play a vital role in maintaining and nurturing relationships with key clients and partners.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that supports the growth and expansion of our shipping and maritime business.
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and pursuit of new business opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, including shipping industry leaders and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial, operations, finance, legal, and marketing, to develop and implement business development plans that support the shipping business objectives.
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance our market position and ensure our competitive edge in the industry.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the shipping industry.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our businesses, including our products, services, and customer base.
- Assist in providing regular reporting to senior leadership on business development activities, and revenue performance.
- Stay up-to-date on shipping industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure we remain competitive and innovative.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in management, shipping, business, or marketing-related field.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present to senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders.
