Marine Field Service Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of marine generators. Your excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving skills will enable you to provide top-notch support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide standby support and emergency call services to customers.
- Offer after-sales technical support, site recovery and maintenance responsibilities to distributors/end customers.
- Generate service reports to customers in a systematic manner.
- Investigate and handle all customers' complaints related to product failures.
- Determine the root causes of failures and recommend solutions.
- Review and assist in determining the extent of damage and repairs of warranty claims from distributors.
- Maintain close working relationships with key customers to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
- Develop service training materials and ensure all technical documents are up-to-date and organized.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A Diploma/degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Prior electrical and control experience with various control systems (John Deere ECU and KDI ECU) and synchronization systems is advantageous.
- Candidates with equivalent professional background will be considered.
