About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR professional to join our Commercial HR Operations team as a Senior HR Generalist. This role will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our global commercial business, working closely with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to drive people outcomes aligned with our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders within the commercial organisation, working collaboratively with various teams to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Support the HR Manager and HR Business Partners in the deployment of special projects, interventions, and recurring annual activities such as salary review, talent review, and change management.
  • Translate commercial strategy into a delivery roadmap and execute, coordinating with local, regional, and global teams as required.
  • Actively seek opportunities to simplify HR processes and improve service delivery, analyzing data trends and generating insights to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance the overall HR service and outcomes for the business.
  • Support the leadership team with emerging labour relations concerns, handling case management, conducting investigations, addressing grievances and complaints, and ensuring alignment with the broader employee relations strategy.
  • Encourage data-driven insights to proactively identify potential gaps and develop strategies to address them, contributing to informed decision-making within the HR team and the broader organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent.
  • Proven abilities in building effective virtual relationships with team and stakeholders.
  • Effective partnering experience with leaders in a global organisation.
  • Experience in influencing and leading matrix teams to deliver excellence.
  • Effective coach and mentor to HR colleagues and leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, deliver, and implement change in a complex, networked/matrix global organisation across multiple countries and cultures.
  • Effective stakeholder management across a range of countries and cultures.
  • A proven track record delivering results – a can-do attitude, willingness to get involved in different types of tasks, be organised, and have a bias for action.
  • Ability to pragmatically resolve complex issues across several countries.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones and hold a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and credibility.
  • Relevant experience and technical expertise in Human Resources.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in the commodities sector.
  • Experience in PowerBI / Data Analytics.
