Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and assess regulatory changes impacting Global Markets' compliance policies and procedures.
  • Potential risks and propose effective control measures to manage and mitigate risks, providing strategic advisory support to global market business units.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and updating of compliance policies and procedures, with comprehensive training on new regulations and policies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide regular reporting to Headquarters on the status of market compliance initiatives.
  • Implement Head Office rules and controls effectively.
  • Review departments' activities to identify methods to enhance regulatory compliance and propose actionable recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in market compliance for Associate level, minimum 5 years for Vice President level.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in the financial sector.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and global financial markets.
  • Solid knowledge of market trends and developments, with extensive experience in global financial markets.
  • Knowledge of local and international/extra-territorial regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and provide expert advisory support to various departments in Global Markets.
  • Familiarity with Global Markets products and services.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others and embed frameworks, processes, and recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
