About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an AVP, Business Proposition. This is a unique opportunity to develop compelling solutions to market problems, expanding our proposition set and generating material volumes of highly valuable business in new areas.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Global Client Solutions team and wider Protection teams to drive strategic initiatives through end-to-end collaboration.

  • Develop innovative solutions to market challenges, leveraging global product/propositions and acting as a conduit for function in Protection to leverage product work.
  • Lead the initiation and review of new markets/segments, development of initial stage gates and fail fast criteria, ensuring consistency of approach to strategy across Line of Business and UMe.
Responsibilities

The role involves working closely with Divisional Strategy team on global or cross Line of Business initiatives, attending relevant meetings and leveraging expertise across the business to ensure consistency where appropriate.

  • Drive the periodic review of market strategies, supporting consistency of approach to strategy across Line of Business and UMe.
  • Collaborate with Client Solutions market teams for global idea generation and sharing.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Educated to at least degree level with actuarial or other similar training.
  • Proven experience working in a life (re)insurer, preferably in a pricing or client solutions department at a senior level.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with sound judgement and commercial awareness.
