Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will drive business growth in the emerging renewable chemicals and plastics market in Southeast Asia.

You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and positioning us as a thought leader in the region's clean tech transformation.

Key areas of focus include leading market intelligence efforts, assessing business potential for our products in renewable chemical manufacturing applications, and developing communication strategies to elevate our brand in the market.

Additionally, you will represent us at industry events and global forums, collaborate with global and regional teams to develop partnerships in bio-chemicals and bio-polymers, and work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in business development within renewable chemicals.
  • Strong understanding of industrial fermentation, waste-to-chemicals, or similar technologies.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to navigate complex regulatory and market landscapes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Degree in engineering or related field; commercial acumen is a must.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in SEA languages is a plus.

The position will be based either in Malaysia/Thailand/Indonesia/Singapore. You will report to the Energy Division Manager, SEA and work closely with Global BD Manager, Renewable Fuels & Chemicals.
