**About the Role**

My client is a leading renewable energy developer and investor specialising from development through construction and operations of solar and wind projects globally. They are currently looking for a Head of Business Development in Singapore to support development efforts within the region.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead formulation of local business development strategy, origination, and execution of new business opportunities within SEA.
- Lead transactional & commercial negotiations.
- Manage end-to-end development process including documentation, licensing and permitting etc.
- Lead preparation of investment pitch for investment committee.
- Build and manage relationships with potential clients and investors, developers, project off-takers etc.
- Actively engage with key external stakeholders and partners.
- Keep abreast of market trends, new regulatory and legal frameworks for solar projects.

**Requirements**:

- 5-8 years of working experience in a similar role within the renewable energy industry, solar C&I experience a must.
- In-depth knowledge of the Southeast Asia renewable energy market.
- Strong business development and client acquisition experience.
- Strong understanding in PPAs.
- Experience in leading transactions and commercial negotiations.
- Solid understanding of the local regulatory and legal framework.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in English is a must, any additional Asian language a plus.
