Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Strategist to oversee all strategic and tactical planning activities related to our products/customers. This role will involve generating production orders, ensuring their timely closure, and monitoring the aging of production orders based on creation and completion dates.
The ideal candidate will evaluate Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and expedite shipments for affected materials as necessary to meet customer orders. Additionally, they will maintain and update weekly reports, such as OTD reports, R&O reports, and others.
This position requires reducing Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory while simultaneously maximizing sales revenue. The successful candidate will optimize inventory levels in alignment with AOP targets and confirm sales orders within the target turnaround time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to meet customer requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related Business field.
- Minimum of 1 year of working experience in a supply chain-related position.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
