Global Shipping Network Manager

As a key strategic player, you will optimize our global shipping network and strengthen alliance partnerships. Your responsibilities include driving cost efficiency, monitoring profitability, and ensuring robust partner engagement to support business growth.

The role involves leading monthly network and cost reviews, overseeing market and competitor analysis, and evaluating new service opportunities through feasibility studies. You will also be responsible for regular reporting of cost-saving initiatives and leading a high-performing team within the Global Network & Alliance function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly review of the current network in terms of fixed costs and profitability
  • Weekly meetings with the team to track and resolve partner-related issues
  • Maintaining relationships with partners through visits, negotiations, and identifying growth opportunities
  • Monitoring competitor services, rotations, and capacity movements to keep management informed
  • Engaging with Heads of Asian countries to assess their space and coverage needs
  • Conducting feasibility studies for new service launches
  • Tracking and reporting Agility Savings monthly to Head Office

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the container shipping industry, with a focus on business development
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field
  • Proven track record of driving growth and revenue targets
