Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor and analyze network performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with partners on strategic adjustments like blank sailings or schedule modifications to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Stay abreast of global maritime industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities, providing timely updates and strategic insights to internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in network strategy, trade management, or a similar role within the container shipping industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct in-depth feasibility studies and profitability analyses.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, adept at building and maintaining strategic partnerships.
  • Understanding of vessel deployment strategies, chartering principles, and operational intricacies of container shipping.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, experience with Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • A strong understanding of market dynamics and a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities.
