Chief Digital Backend Architect, Advanced Process Chips

Join a leading technology company that designs and manufactures cutting-edge ICs. As a Senior/Staff Engineer/Technical Manager in our Physical Design team, you will play a critical role in implementing top-quality digital backend design for our advanced process chips.

  • Drive the development of 6nm/4nm/3nm and below world-leading advanced process chips from RTL to GDS.
  • Lead block coordinator tasks, solving critical issues and providing solutions to block owners.
  • Take charge of complicated hierarchical chip (over 20 million instances plus 1000+ macros) floorplan, partition, and assembly.
  • Coordinate with Frontend and Signoff teams on timely delivery of SoC PD tasks, responsible for full chip PD schedule and tapeout.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of IC design with leader role experience and tapeout expertise.
  • Proficiency in UNIX/LINUX environment and at least one programming language: C/C++, Python, TCL, Perl.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to drive team success.
